20/04: The Rhodes Family
Looking for the Rhodes family.
I have found a family in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Charles E 1854-1926, Lucretia A died Oct 20 1905, and their children Amanda, Alice and CWR. Children's graves were found at the foot of Charles grave.
There are also Rhodes in the Bakersville Cemetery, the same cemetery that the Hemphills are burried in.
Lewis Rhodes, born Nov 6 1840, died Apr 9 1911
Sarah J, wife of Lewis, born Feb 7 1842, died July 12 1925
Anna M, born Feb 15 1872, died Oct 28 1873
Davis H, born March 31 1880, died June 9 1880
John F Rhodes, born Dec 20 1878, died March 10 1914
Iva E, wife of John F, born Oct 24 1870, died Dec 8 1934
there are two other graves with no stones
In the 1830 Washington County census there were three Rhodes found

~ Jn.o Rhodes in District 4
~ Jn.o Rhodes in District 6
There was no record for Rhodes in the 1820 or 1790 census for Washington County Maryland.
